Very bad experience during Ramadan, stayed for a couple of days with a Ramadan package, meals were below average, and the service extremely bad, not worth it The SPA stinks and staff are not welcoming (except few ones)
Flew from London Heathrow to Tunis Airport and then a coach journey to Gammath seaside resort and then after a few days travelled to Sousse to stay at the Hotel Movenpick Sousse. Beautiful hotel reception area exceptional and the rooms beautiful, balcony an amazing view over the swimming pools and the sea in the distance.. Sousse so worth a visit and great to stay at the Movenpick. Drinks bar areas large and lovely views of the pools . great seating outside, spacious. Very clean and fresh. A Spa and Massage area. My only disappointment was the food. Salads great and plenty of variety but some of the meat dishes tasteless. Breakfast ok but definitely need a decent bread toaster and the bread was poor and stale.
Amazing hotel with good service and good food I was with my family …lovely staff very helpful the food was great so delicious amazing view thnks for the amazing trip …special thnks to the lovely hostess rania she was amazing and so helpful with her smiling face ❤️
The hotel and all staff were extremely nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the receptionists were extremely warm and special thanks to Raslen and others who allowed me an early check in to the hotel. The spa was an exceptionally satisfying experience on all levels. Nour and Yassine were extremely nice and helped me understand all the available treatments with all warmth and forebearance. The experience was very rejuvenating and I strongly recommend you spend more than two days at the spa alone.
Movenpick is a five star hotel built approx 14 years ago and short walk to Corniche and to Medina. The hotel attracts a lot of conference and business guests, so none of the pesky animation entertainment you find in most tourist hotels. Room was good standard as you would expect from five star hotel. My only complaint was the shower which was above a high sided bath - this may cause problems for anyone with mobility issues. I would expect higher grade hotels to have a walk in shower. The main restaurant was buffet service with large selection of Tunisian and Western dishes. I could not fault the food. I would stay again, mainly for location. Also for me, it was a pleasure not to have entertainment and animation.
